Saliva alcohol test kits provide preliminary test results. Positive test results should be followed up by a laboratory test. The AlcoScreen saliva alcohol test is available in a DOT approved version indicating a pass/fail result for alcohol consumption above 0.02%. The AlcoScreen Regular saliva alcohol test provides a quantitative reading approximating the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) from 0.02% to 0.30%.
