The NCADD is a planning and oversight agency for public substance abuse treatment programs dedicated to fighting the stigma and the disease of alcoholism and other drug addictions. It provides written educational and informational materials on alcohol and drug abuse as well as providing 24-hour referrals to treatment and counseling programs.
